PGF Softball Camps

The "Accepted" Player Lists are posted and updated regularly, click on the "CAMPS" menu tab above to access each individual camp's event page and the Accepted Player List for that event.
Player is eligible to participate in camp, even if her team is not entered in tournament.

The July 28th camp is full and we are no longer accepting players for the waiting list.

WAITING LIST PLAYERS: If you are currently on the waiting list, you will be notified via cell or email that an opening has become available.  Once notified, you will be required to complete your registration and submit payment.  Wait list players are accepted by using NCAA compliance camp regulations.  Players are accepted should an existing player cancel.  We will not be accepting walk up registrations.

ACCEPTED PLAYERS: If you are registered and accepted, Please follow these instructions.

The camp will take place at the Harvard Softball Complex, 14701 Harvard Ave. Irvine CA from 10am to 2pm.  Please arrive in plenty of time to check in (Look for PGF tent near the snack bar, check in starts as early as 8:45am, you will receive your field assignment, free t-shirt and camp Pinnie to wear) You will then have time to warm up and then report to your field ready to go by 10am.  We use all 7 fields and each field run independently of each other. You will be able to work with 8 coaches from the list posted (Please note that Syracuse U has cancelled and has been replaced by The U of Florida) The camp is broken down in to 3 sections, 1 hour of defensive drills, 1 hour of hitting ending with 2 hours of live games.  Your names and info have been put in a coaches book with the info you supplied with your primary and secondary positions.  Please bring all equipment that you would normally bring to a tournament.  Please email any coaches that you wish to attend, as many coaches attending PGF will also attend this camp as observers (in addition to schools participating) We have coaches books for visiting coaches as well.  If you have individual profile sheets, bring them as you will be able to give them to the coaches on the field.  We ask that this is done at the end of the camp and done by players only and not parents.

Check back or look for info on via email as a planned visit by The Louisville Slugger Hit Club may be included.  This will be a Q & A that may occur just prior to the start of the camp.  The Hit Club is a group of 10 graduating seniors considered the Top Ten offensive players in the country, they attend PGF Nationals and attend many events escorted by ESPN play by play announcer, U of Michigan Hall of Famer Jennie Ritter and Brentt Eads formerly of FLO Softball and now President of Extra Inning Softball.  Former Hit Club members include Sis Bates, Shay Knighten and Aaliyah Jordan.

Thank you to everyone for your interest in our camps.

CAMP PARTICIPATION IN RELATION TO THE NEW NCAA RECRUITING RULE:  The new recruiting rules have no impact on camp participation, communication between players and college coaches during the camp.  The players 2019 through 2023 still are on the field and can work directly with the college coaches. (Coaches may not discuss specific recruitment with certain players is the only impact of the new rule).

Coaches can still evaluate, receive future emails with game times, go to games and put the younger players on "Their Radar" Our camps at PGF allow players a great opportunity to stay within the rules and develop direct relationships with the coaches on the field during the camp.

WHAT COACHES ARE SAYING ABOUT PGF ELITE CAMPS: "I make a point to participate in PGF camps as they are very organized, have a great player to coach ratio, allow me to develop that face to face relationship and it gives me a great opportunity to evaluate players of all ages in attendance so I can continue to follow their progress...parents have told me after the camps that they were impressed with their daughters opportunity at the camp, PGF camps allow me to stay within NCAA compliance and still work directly with players at the younger age"  -  Current PAC 12 Coach

"I make my schedule around PGF camps, it allows me to work directly with players on the field, evaluate, establish a relationship and then attend their games that same weekend, PGF Camps are as well run as any camps I have attended"  - Current Big 10 Coach
